Refund & Returns Policy
(Recording Studio & Record Label Services)
Effective Date: 15th February 2026
This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be granted for services provided by ZXRECORDS (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking studio time or entering into agreements with ZXRECORDS, you (“Client” or “Artist”) agree to the following policy.
1. Studio Session Deposits
1.1 Non-Refundable Deposits
All booking deposits are non-refundable. Deposits secure your session time and studio resources.
1.2 Rescheduling

48 hours or more notice: Deposit may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).

Less than 48 hours notice: Deposit may be forfeited.

No-shows: Deposit is forfeited and may require full payment for future bookings.
2. Studio Session Payments
2.1 Completed Sessions
Once a recording session has been completed, no refunds will be issued for time used.
2.2 Client Dissatisfaction
If you are unsatisfied, ZXRECORDS may offer reasonable revisions within the agreed service scope, but refunds will not be guaranteed.
3. Mixing, Mastering & Production Services
3.1 Digital Services Policy
All digital services (mixing, mastering, beat production, editing) are non-refundable once work has begun.
3.2 Revisions
Revision limits will be defined at the start of the project. Additional revisions may require extra fees.
4. Record Label Services
4.1 Signed Artist Agreements
Refunds for signed artists are governed by the terms outlined in individual contracts.
4.2 Distribution Fees
Distribution, marketing, and promotional service fees are non-refundable once services have been initiated.
5. Merchandise (If Applicable)
If ZXRECORDS sells physical merchandise:

Items may be returned within 28 days if unused and in original condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

Custom merchandise is non-refundable.
6. Technical Issues
If a session is canceled due to studio equipment failure or technical issues caused by ZXRECORDS, the client may choose between:

Rescheduling at no additional cost, or
-
Receiving a partial or full refund for unused time.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Clients agree to contact ZXRECORDS directly to resolve disputes before initiating chargebacks. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent service termination.
8. Exceptions
Refund exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of ZXRECORDS management under special circumstances.
