Terms and Conditions

Recording Studio & Record Label Services
Effective Date: 15th February 2026

Welcome to ZXRECORDS. These Terms and Conditions govern all recording, production, distribution, and related services provided by ZXRECORDS (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking studio time or using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Studio Booking & Payments

1.1 Booking Confirmation

A non-refundable deposit of 40% is required to confirm all bookings.

1.2 Payment Terms

Full payment must be completed before or immediately after each session unless otherwise agreed.

1.3 Late Payments

Late payments may result in additional fees and suspension of services.

1.4 Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • 48+ hours: rescheduling allowed
  • Less than 48 hours: deposit may be forfeited
  • No-shows: full session fee may be charged

2. Studio Conduct

2.1 Professional Conduct

Clients must behave respectfully toward staff and equipment.

2.2 Damages

Clients are responsible for any damage caused.

2.3 Prohibited Activities

Illegal activity, harassment, or unsafe behavior will result in termination.

3. Recording & Production Services

3.1 Ownership of Masters

Clients retain ownership after full payment unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 ZXRECORDS Label Projects

Ownership and royalties governed by signed contracts.

3.3 Creative Direction

Creative input may be provided; final terms depend on contracts.

4. Copyright & Intellectual Property

4.1 Client Responsibility

Clients must have rights to all beats, samples, lyrics, and compositions.

4.2 Indemnification

ZXRECORDS is not liable for copyright issues from client materials.

5. Distribution & Marketing

5.1 Distribution

Music may be distributed under label agreements.

5.2 Revenue & Royalties

Revenue splits outlined in contracts.

5.3 Promotional Use

ZXRECORDS may use artist content for promotion.

6. File Storage & Delivery

Files stored up to 28 days. Clients must maintain backups.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Loss of data after delivery
  • Personal injury due to negligence
  • Equipment failure beyond control

8. Confidentiality

All unreleased music remains confidential unless authorized.

9. Termination

ZXRECORDS may terminate services at any time.

10. Amendments

Terms may be updated at any time.

11. Governing Law

Governed by United Kingdom law.
