Terms and Conditions
(Recording Studio & Record Label Services)
Effective Date: 15th February 2026
Welcome to ZXRECORDS. These Terms and Conditions govern all recording, production, distribution, and related services provided by ZXRECORDS (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking studio time, signing a contract, or using our services, you (“Client,” “Artist,” or “you”) agree to the following terms:
1. Studio Booking & Payments
1.1 Booking Confirmation
Studio sessions must be booked in advance. A non-refundable deposit of 40% is required to confirm all bookings.
1.2 Payment Terms
Full payment must be completed before or immediately after each session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 Late Payments
Late payments may result in additional fees and suspension of services.
1.4 Cancellations & Rescheduling

48+ hours notice: Rescheduling allowed (subject to availability).

Less than 48 hours notice: Deposit may be forfeited.

No-shows: Full session fee may be charged.
2. Studio Conduct
2.1 Professional Conduct
All clients must behave respectfully toward staff, equipment, and other clients.
2.2 Damages
Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment or property due to negligence or misconduct.
2.3 Prohibited Activities
Illegal activities, violence, harassment, or unsafe behavior are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of services.
3. Recording & Production Services
3.1 Ownership of Masters (Studio-Only Services)
Unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement, clients retain ownership of their recordings once full payment is received.
3.2 ZXRECORDS Label Projects
For artists signed under ZXRECORDS:

Ownership, publishing, royalties, and distribution terms will be governed by a separate signed contract.

ZXRECORDS may retain rights to masters under label agreements.
3.3 Creative Direction
ZXRECORDS may provide creative input; however, final artistic decisions remain subject to contractual agreements.
4. Copyright & Intellectual Property
4.1 Client Responsibility
Clients must ensure they own or have legal rights to all beats, samples, lyrics, and musical compositions used.
4.2 Indemnification
ZXRECORDS is not liable for copyright infringement claims resulting from materials provided by the client.
5. Distribution & Marketing (Label Services)
5.1 Distribution
ZXRECORDS may distribute music to streaming platforms and digital stores under label agreements.
5.2 Revenue & Royalties
Revenue splits will be outlined in the artist’s signed contract.
5.3 Promotional Use
ZXRECORDS reserves the right to use artist name, image, and music for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. File Storage & Delivery
6.1 File Retention
Studio session files will be stored for up to 28 days after session completion unless otherwise agreed.
6.2 Backup Responsibility
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups after file delivery.
7. Limitation of Liability
ZXRECORDS is not responsible for:

Loss of data after file delivery

Personal injury caused by client negligence

Equipment failure beyond reasonable control
8. Confidentiality
All unreleased music and private information shared during sessions will remain confidential unless authorized for release.
9. Termination of Services
ZXRECORDS reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time due to breach of these terms.
10. Amendments
ZXRECORDS may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of United Kingdom.
